Why Cycle?

Cycling may seem like a lot of effort to some people,but ultimately one of the great things about cycling is that you can set your own pace and even the most leisurely of rides will increase fitness and help you stay healthy.The benefits of using mountain bikes or road bikes are numerous but one of cycling’s best qualities is the fact that you are often able to exercise without even realising you are doing so,enjoying the scenery on beautiful days and in the process increasing your stamina and general cardio-vascular fitness.

With regular, relaxed outings you will often find that you are far more able to go further and faster before you know it and are therefore getting a great workout without having to feel like you are dying – the main reason that many people are put off exercise in the first place.

However, these are not the only benefits cycling brings. On top of the fact that you get to enjoy the countryside at your leisure and relax whilst also increasing fitness, it offers a cornucopia of other benefits.

For example, unlike other forms of exercise, it is low impact, meaning that your joints will not be hurt by repeated exercise unlike with many other sports. On top of this, it doesn’t just have to be a way of exercising, but can also simply be a cheap and environmentally friendly way of getting around and the more you get into cycling, the more you will find you actually want to use your bike to get around.
