Holiday on the Costa Blanca – Top attractions

Many Brits choose to holiday on the Costa Blanca every year and it is not surprising that they should do so. There are so many great destinations on the Costa Blanca that it really is a great place to spend some time. Below are some of the top places to visit if you plan to holiday on the Costa Blanca in the future:

Valencia

Valencia is often referred to as the City of Light. It is a fantastic city where you will find no shortage of things to do. Whether you enjoy night time revelling or prefer to get active on the beach, you will thoroughly enjoy a trip to Valencia which boasts over 2600 hours of sunshine per year.

Alicante

Alicante is one of the most popular destinations for people who holiday on the Costa Blanca. It is a great place to kick back on a sandy beach with a cocktail and soak up the sun and is definitely a destination which should be considered.

Terra Mitica

If you are holidaying in the Costa Blanca as a family, then a visit to the Terra Mitica theme park is a must. The theme park is situated in Benidorm and is made up of 5 fun packed areas which offer more than 20 rides and a huge number of entertainment options.

The Island of Tabarca

This stunning island is situated off the coast of the Costa Blanca and is a great place for holidaymakers who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist traps. It is a peaceful retreat which can be reached by water taxi or ferry and is perfect for the grown-ups.

Algar Waterfalls

If you get bored of the beach, then a trip out to see the Algar waterfalls is ideal. This stunning natural attraction can be found in the village of Callosa de Sarria and is a great place to relax, swim and enjoy nature. There are even a couple of museums in the village nearby, so you can take in some culture whilst you’re there.
