The area around the nicotine cartridge should be looked at for any visible liquid on the filter or battery. If the battery is wet, it should be placed in a zip lock bag of rice for 24 to 48 hours. This will remove any moisture, if any, present in the control chip.
The battery is inserted into the charger. It is then ensured that the battery is properly charged. Plugging the battery into the charger while it is wet can cause the control chip to short out. So, care must be taken in all possible aspects so that the control chip doesn’t short out.
