Forget snail mail – send your business Christmas cards online.

December 31, 2010 by Mary Smith

So it’s that time of year again. Ah the joys of the run up to Christmas in the office. Tinsel hanging from your computer monitor, being forced to wear an amusing cracker hat and smile, no matter what. Dancing with flirty Sally at the staff party. But hey, don’t dwell too much on having to put up with all that enforced jollity. There’s important work to be done. Well OK, not really, but there are a few tasks to take care of. Ones that can have a lasting positive impact on your customers. How about taking the time to send some business Christmas cards? “ Where will I find the time”, I hear you cry. I’m not talking about licking hundreds of envelopes and stamps. Who do you think you are? Santa? Instead, you make a nice business gesture by sending corporate Christmas e cards instead.

Business Christmas cards are something of a tradition in any office I’ve worked in and they are a nice touch. Just a bit too time consuming. Well, the times they are a changing. We send all sorts of other types of cards online, so why not Christmas cards? It’s fast, fun and environmentally friendly. You can add in sounds, animations, turn them into a form of marketing by including some company news and maybe a special offer or two. After all, it is the season of goodwill. Just not enough goodwill to actually get out and physically post things.

Designing a card is simple. Produce it in conjunction with marketing so they can maximise any potential sales offerings alongside your gesture of thanking people for their business and loyalty. Corporate Christmas e cards can be a lot of fun to put together. You might even enjoy it. It’ll put you in the right mood for that cracker hat. You know it’s coming so why even resist. You know you love wearing it really. So it’s that time of year again. Ah the joys of the run up to Christmas in the office.
