Online CV portal for the media sector

December 30, 2010 by Mary Smith

An online CV portal has been set up to help recruiters in the media industry fill various positions.

Media C2C has launched an employer only recruitment portal where companies can see an online resume and other information from potential candidates. By signing up and subscribing to this service, recruiters do not have to go through a recruitment agency to find potential candidates.

Job hunters can upload an online resume and list their skills that can then be matched up by the website when new jobs are advertised on the site.

Using the latest software and technology available, recruiters can search for the perfect online CV for the position they are hoping to fill. The software will help match up the candidates with the right skills and experience with suitable jobs in the media industry.

Media C2C are offering clients the chance to advertise jobs for free if they sign up for a subscription for the service that will match suitable candidates up with jobs. In the same way, there will be no agency fees or expenses involved as the communication will take place directly between the candidate and the employer.

The website will use Job Board and CV matching software that has been designed by HotLizard and Burning Glass.

Speaking to website, Online Recruitment, Adele Poole from HotLizard claims that this format is the best and most efficient way for recruiters to fill positions, especially during these tough economic times.

She said: “ The intelligent search and match technology provided by Burning Glass, coupled with HotLizard’s powerful job board technology will dramatically improve the user experience.”

Also speaking to the website, Andrew Fisher, CEO and founder of Media C2C said that this new portal is the perfect solution for companies looking for candidates using more cost effective tools.
