Storage furniture company launches new products

February 17, 2011 by James Lewis

A company that makes storage furniture in a flat pack format, has recently added some new items to its product range.

Prepac Manufacturing Ltd now has a range of platform beds that have additional room for storage that would be very welcome in any home crying out for additional space to store clutter away.

Additionally there are a number of new DVD and CD storage racks available to buy and there are also a number of television stands.

In total, there are around 242 new items from the manufacturer that are now available to buy from the American and Canadian websites of Wholesale Furniture Brokers.

As a lot of the items are made using composite wood which uses reclaiming wood fibres from wood chips, Prepac goods are very often considered to be very environmentally friendly.

The goods are also stored and transported in a flat pack format meaning they take up less space on planes and lorries and therefore weigh less when being flown to other parts of the country. As the goods are all made in Canada and need to be transported this is very important.

Jim Mathison from Prepac Manufacturing explains: “ From an environmental standpoint, shipping unassembled products results is a much smaller carbon footprint.”

He is also very excited about the collaboration with Wholesale Furniture Brokers which will help Prepac products reach a wider audience.

Mr Mathison added: “ Wholesale Furniture Brokers is a good fit for Prepac as they are focused in our key categories and meet other criteria including having a wide selection of products, high product visibility, professional e-commerce websites and online presence.”

Prepac Manufacturing Ltd started to sell its first furniture in the early 1980s. Steve Simpson is the company’s President and established the company, which these days offers a wide range of furniture including office desks, in 1979.

Creating Three Dimensional Marketing Tools

February 17, 2011 by James Lewis

Marketing is something that is constantly evolving. If you now simply based your campaign on black and white flyers, no matter how well designed they were the results would be fairly poor. Instead, as technology changes, customers expect companies to change with it.

Whether that is through the internet with viral marketing and social networking or by utilising technology in other unique ways, those companies who do not change with the times are the ones who invariably get left behind.

One of the most recent technological advancements is the ubiquity of 3D. Whilst the technology has been around for nearly a century, the ability to actually create life-like graphics in 3D is still a fairly new thing. With everyone jumping on the 3D band wagon, it looks like before too long, 2D might well be dead.

For businesses, this means that customers now expect companies to use this technology too. And there is plenty of scope to do so. Whether this is creating holographic displays for events or 3D holograms to promote products in-store, there is plenty of scope for holograms to catch the eye like no previous marketing has been able to achieve.

There is almost no doubt that holographic displays are going to be the future of marketing and advertising. However, for those who get in early the chance to amaze potential customers before it is common practice is by far the best way to stand out from the crowd at the moment. On the other hand, for those who choose to ignore 3D completely, it is almost certainly not going to be long before they find themselves getting left behind.

So if you want your marketing to be as effective as possible, don’t let it feel one dimensional. Choose 3D marketing and see just how successful your next campaign could be.
